My name is Nick. I am a freelance writer based out of Chicago, IL. Generally, I write comedy, satire, standup, fan-fiction and fiction (for personal use); as well as SEO blog posts, media reviews, press releases, item descriptions, e-books, and more (for professional use).

This blog is my attempt at categorizing all the things I like in my brain. Right now, most of that is commentary and criticism about things I like. Soon, there will be more original content. I hope this blog becomes a psychograph of my brain. Soon, I will figure out a way to link these pages better.

I like to watch cartoons. Awesome Animation is a curated column of internet cartoons.

I like old comic strips. Great Strips is a curated roll of cool stand alone strips.

I like flipping through random comic issues. Random Issues satisfies this pleasure.

I like finding comic book issue arcs people forgot about. Mini-Mania is what this is for.

I like zines. Zine Review is a column in need of updating (send me zines!)

I like crime novels. Crime Alert! is a column still in the works (but soon to come).

I like webcomics. I am still figuring out ways to write about this.

I like weird music. I am still figuring out ways to write about this.

I like particularly subversive texts. I am still figuring out ways to write about this.
